TOP STORIES | Three cadettes of USANT Citizenship Advancement Training Model Regiment (CATMR) marched triumphantly during the awarding ceremony of the Search for Outstanding Corps Commander and Troop Commander of Region V, and Philippine Eagles Outstanding Youth Service Award (PEOYSA) held on March 4, 2021 at Naga City.

CDTTE LTC Ana Mae B. Tibis 1CL topped the Search for Outstanding Troop Commander besting four other contenders in the region, while Corps G5 CDTTE LTC Franzyn Elieza O. Nadal 1CL secured the 1st place for PEOYSA. In addition, CDTTE COL Hannah Louise A. Avila 1CL ranked 2nd in the Search for Outstanding Corps Commander. The selection process involved rigorous portfolio evaluations and oral interviews.

The cadettes were joined by Atty. Santiago D. Ortega, Jr., the president and chairman of University of Saint Anthony, when they received the above-mentioned recognitions during the awarding ceremony of the region-wide competitions.

These accolades are added feathers in the cap of USANT-CATMR as the latter is also well recognized in the region for its consistent wins in the Annual Regional Peñafrancia Military Parade and Competition, which are all sponsored by the Bicol Federation of Active & Reserved PMT Commandants & Instructors League (BFARPCIL).
