Universitas Muhammadiyah Buton (UMB) in Indonesia partners with University of Saint Anthony - College of Teacher Education (USANT-CTE) for a joint International Webinar on March 25, 2021 via Zoom, which will center on the theme: “Learning Innovations and Challenges among Elementary Schools in the New Normal.”
Wa Ode Alzarlian, S.P., M.M., the Rector of UMB and Atty. Santiago D. Ortega, Jr. , the President and Chairman of USANT, are set to give their keynote speeches in the said event. Meanwhile, Mr. Christian I. Lamud and Mr. Arnel Turiano, Professional Education instructors of USANT-CTE, will be joining the roster of esteemed resource speakers
Mr. Lamud will discuss the challenges in teaching and learning in the new normal as experienced by teachers and students in the Philippines, while Mr. Turiano will share about the emerging trends and innovations in teaching Filipino learners in the new normal. They will come alongside other speakers from UMB-Indonesia namely, Wa Ode Riniati, S.Pd., M.Hum., Nurdahniar, S.Pd., M.Pd., and Andi Lely Nurmaya G, S.Pd., M.Pd.
This international webinar is part of USANT and UMB’s fresh partnership which was ushered by a signing of Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the two institutions last February 5, 2021 and with a maiden event jointly hosted by UMB and USANT’s College of Accountancy on February 24, 2021.
